Kick Off Post

I was motivated to participate in summer camp because I'm interested in kicking my technology skills up a notch or two. In Summer Camp 2.0 I hope to learn new technology skills that I can not only use in my instruction, but also put in the hands of my students. 

How would I describe my current comfort level with technology? I am fully aware that there's is a whole bunch I don't know. I do however, feel that I have enough basic knowledge, patience, and interest in technology in the classroom to get started.

Presently in my classroom I use an Apple IMac from the dark ages, a wireless slate, document camera, iPad, and oh yeah... a big dark PC. I feel much more comfortable with Apple computers and all technology connected to Apple. I recognize the need to be familiar with PC's too, but prefer the Apple platform where all my photos, movies, calendars, design work, and drawings sync together on the same operating system.
